Pilgrimage – A Journey of Faith and Grace

For Catholics, a pilgrimage is more than a trip. It is an opportunity to encounter God, deepen one’s faith, and experience communion with fellow believers.

To help ensure a meaningful, prayerful, and safe pilgrimage experience, Vietnam Catholic Travel by Nakhalah kindly recommends the following guidelines.

1. Spiritual Preparation

Before your pilgrimage, we encourage you to:

Spend time in prayer and prepare personal intentions.
Participate in Holy Mass and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation whenever possible.
Approach the journey with humility, openness, and a spirit of Christian charity.

2. Travel Documents

For Domestic Travel in Vietnam

Valid identification documents.

For International Travel

Passport valid for at least six months beyond the travel date.
Valid visa (if required).
Additional travel documents as requested by the tour organizer.

3. Appropriate Attire

When attending Holy Mass or visiting churches, shrines, and religious sites:

Dress modestly and respectfully.
Avoid inappropriate or revealing clothing.
Follow any specific dress requirements of the pilgrimage site.

4. During the Journey

We kindly ask pilgrims to:

Respect the schedule and group arrangements.
Follow the instructions of tour leaders and guides.
Respect local customs and regulations.
Help maintain cleanliness and preserve religious sites.
Take responsibility for personal belongings.

5. Pilgrimage Spirit

To fully embrace the pilgrimage experience, we encourage pilgrims to:

Participate actively in Holy Mass, prayers, and group activities.
Respect cultural traditions and local communities.
Foster a spirit of unity, service, and mutual support throughout the journey.
